Box Styles for Hemp Pre Roll Boxes
Single and Multi-Pack Boxes
A single pre roll box holds one joint or one tube. It works well for counter sales and for free samples in online orders.
Multi-pack boxes hold 2, 3, 5, or 10 pre-rolls. A die-cut insert gives each joint its own space, so nothing gets crushed on the way to the store.
Sliding Drawer and Flip-Top Boxes
A sliding drawer box has a tray that slides out of an outer sleeve. Buyers can open and close it again and again, which suits packs that are not smoked in one day.
A flip-top box opens like a cigarette pack. It is quick to open and small enough to carry in a pocket.
Two-Piece Rigid Boxes
These boxes have a separate lid and base made from thick chipboard. Pick this style for premium strains, gift sets, and limited releases.

SBS Paperboard
SBS is a white board with a smooth surface. Colors print bright and sharp on it. We offer it from 14 pt to 24 pt.
Kraft Paperboard
Kraft is a brown board with a natural, earthy look. Many brands pick kraft hemp pre roll boxes because they fit an organic image. It is also easy to recycle.
Corrugated Cardboard
E-flute corrugated board adds an extra layer of strength. It is the best pick for mailer boxes and cartons that ship many packs at once.
Rigid Chipboard
Rigid chipboard is thick board wrapped in printed paper. We use it for two-piece and magnetic closure boxes.

Printing and Finishing Options
Your box design does a lot of selling for you, so print quality matters. We print in full color CMYK for photos and detailed artwork. If your brand color has to match on every order, we use Pantone (PMS) inks.
You can also print inside the box. A short thank-you note or a QR code gives buyers something to find when they open it.
For the finish, matte and gloss lamination protect the box from scuffs. Soft-touch coating gives it a smooth, velvet feel. Spot UV makes your logo shine against a matte background.
Want something more premium? Add gold, silver, or holographic foil stamping. Embossing and debossing give your logo a raised or pressed feel. A window cutout lets buyers see the joints inside before they buy.
What to Print on Hemp Pre Roll Boxes
Under the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp is cannabis with no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight. On top of that, many states have their own label and packaging rules for smokable hemp, and these rules change often.
Here is what many brands print on their hemp pre roll boxes:

- Net weight per pre-roll and per pack
- Cannabinoid content, such as CBD and THC
- Batch or lot number
- QR code that links to the lab report (COA)
